Summer Lovin'

After doing a chilly engagement session with Kim & Grant back in March, I think its safe to say we were all happy for a hot sunny summer day for their wedding last weekend. :) From start to finish, these two were delightfully laid back and ready to enjoy the day; there was lots of laughing & joking between everyone and it was clear that the main objective of the wedding was FUN. This country loving crowd was down for anything - we even stopped at an abandoned farm property for wedding party portraits after the ceremony!

Married Among the Maple Trees

It is especially touching when the couple you're working with has chosen a venue that has a special meaning for them, and such was the case with Jess & Simone. During the reception speeches, Simone shared the story of why The Tiffin Center held such value for the two of them. After moving into the area, she would walk with her dogs on the nature trails around the conservation park and soon found comfort in the peace & quiet of the forest. Years later she met Jesse and they started going to Tiffin together. Her story had all the guests (and me) in tears as she smiled at Jesse and said "Now I don't walk alone anymore." Just another reason why I love what I do so much. Getting to witness that
